Policy Agreement
Distances are approximate. Every effort has been made to assure accurate
descriptions. Changes in inventory or items and/or decor occur from time to time and
such changes will not void or alter the terms of the rental agreement. PENNINGTON
Place will not be held responsible for noise or loss of view due to construction or for
any amenities which are closed down for maintenance purposes or inoperable
conditions. PENNINGTON Place will make every effort to schedule maintenance
when not occupied and keep the amenities operable as often as possible.
SECURITY OF THE HOME AND EQUIPMENT:
When you lease the home you assume full responsibility for it and its contents, as
well as your personal property. Always lock the doors and windows when you leave.
Lock your automobiles and put away any rental equipment. Any use of rented
equipment by the Guests is strictly at your own risk, liability and could cause you to
incur additional expenses.
Damage & Cleaning Regulations
Guests will be responsible for any accommodation damages, which occur as a
result of their occupancy, other than normal wear and tear, including household
furnishings. PENNINGTON Place will not be liable for any damages to rental property
or furnishings, nor for injuries resulting from any accident that may occur in or on the
premises during guest occupancy.
Representatives of PENNINGTON Place may enter the premises at any reasonable
time to make repairs. PENNINGTON Place is NOT responsible for personal items
left on the premises. You are responsible for leaving your unit clean, damage-free
and in an acceptable condition.
Your security deposit will not be returned if damages or a violation of these rules
occur. If additional costs are incurred from damages you are responsible for them.
Every effort is made to have your rental property clean and all equipment in good
working order. If you find any maintenance or housekeeping problems,telephone our
office immediately 812-292-6388. We will make every effort to correct the problem. If
we have not heard from you we will assume that you found your property in
acceptable condition
Candles/Fireworks/Open flames
At no time are fireworks or candles allowed. Also, open flames such as bonfires
are not allowed.
Pets
Pets are NOT allowed. Pets found in property will result in immediate eviction with NO
refund of rent or security deposit. Exceptions will be made for special needs and
seeing-eye dogs, as outlined by law.
Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted inside only outside, any evidence (odor, ashes, burns...)
will result in immediate eviction and forfeit of security deposit.
Illegal Activities
Are not permitted, such activities will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of
rents and deposit. Authorities will also notified.
Occupancy and Age Requirements
The maximum number of persons allowed in property is stated in the property
description (10) and on your Rental Agreement & Confirmation. Children are counted
unless under the age of three (3). This represents the total number of people allowed
to occupy the property inside or outside, day or night.
We are very serious about maintaining a family atmosphere for the quiet enjoyment
of our guests. We do not rent to groups of teenagers with or without chaperons
regardless of whether the chaperons are parents of one of the teenagers. We will
rent to family groups, married couples, and RESPONSIBLE ADULTS over the age of
21. Proof of age is required. Violation of this policy will result in immediate eviction
without refund of rent or deposit. This policy must be printed, signed and returned via
fax or snail mail (call for info).

| Cancellation Policy Rent will be refunded minus finance charges we may have incurred, if cancelled 2 weeks before stay. The deposit, minus finance charges will be returned if we are able to re rent it. If we are unable to rent it then we will hold your deposit for one year for you to use to book another stay. |
