Celebrate the Swiss heritage at the Swiss Wine Festival; enjoy the Little Swiss Polka Dancers or stop by the wine tasting. The Swiss Wine Festival ends the summer season but kicks off autumn with its many festivals. Bountiful harvests are available at the local farmers market and the colors of autumn begin to paint the local landscape mirrored by the rolling river. The autumn colors fade to holiday celebrations. Visit Pennington Place to escape the holiday hustle and bustle. Over the river and through the woods...a local celebration the 1st Saturday in December. Soon the winter scape begins to green and color bursts onto the scene. A leisurely drive along the Ohio River Scenic Byway will find wildflowers and wildlife along the roadsides. Y'all come back. |
